  1. Work on clean-ish hair: if the tangling and dirt is much, put down the leave-in and give your hair extensions a full wash and condition. we love a hydrating shampoo and don’t forget the conditioner is key to restore moisture and help reduce tangling and breakage.

  2. Start with damp hair: Detangling dry hair can cause breakage, damage and far too much pain. Mist your extensions with water or a water-based detangling spray to make the process smoother. Add a leave-in conditioner or detangling spray to add slip and reduce friction.
